Our Basic Life Support (BLS) are taught by Resuscitation Council accredited trainers, and equips clinical and nonclinical staff with the skills to recognise and respond to cardiac arrest, medical emergencies, and choking, ensuring prompt, coordinated action until advanced care arrives.

All courses cover high-quality CPR, effective ventilation techniques using BVM (where appropriate), use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and oxygen use.

We focus on teamwork and communication during resuscitation, and tailor scenarios reflecting all sectors, such as primary care settings, dental practices, nursing homes, social care provision, and care in service user homes. Resuscitation topics can include both adult and paediatric (infant/child) as necessary.

These qualifications are suitable for both initial, and annual refresher training, to ensure you remain compliant with local governance, CQC, ARCP, GDC, mandatory training and revalidation requirements.
