For educators and childcare workers

Who you are

You work with children and/or infants. You might be a teacher, teaching assistant, nursery worker, childminder, or run an after-school club.

What you need

You need a Paediatric First Aid qualification to carry out your job which gives you confidence to act when accidents happen to your young charges, from bumps and scrapes to more serious incidents.

What we provide

We have regulated qualifications in Paediatric First Aid and Paediatric Emergency First Aid, which meet the requirements set out by EYFS and Ofsted for educators and childcare workers. We can also offer recertification and refresher training, so you are up to date and confident to respond to any emergency.

Why choose us?

All our courses are delivered, evaluated and quality-assured to meet the new guidelines set out by the HSE in October 2017 and meet the requirements of the First Aid at Work (First Aid) regulations 1981 and subsequent 2016 changes.

Our trainer will take you through all you need to know in a compassionate, fun and supportive way, making you feel positive and confident to carry out what you’ve learned, should the need arise.

“Your skills as a nurse and trainer really showed in the way you presented yourself and the learning we received. Best training I’ve had in the last 5 years! I fully recommend Marie’s training, and the cost was really great for small businesses or those self-funding.”

“I would strongly recommend Marie to anyone wanting a CPR update or any resus training. She is an excellent trainer and most approachable and helpful.”

CPR/BLS, AED & Anaphylaxis, August 2024

“I came away with more confidence of what to do in the event of an emergency. You explained it very clearly in a relaxed way, always stressing that these occurrences are rare. You answered all our questions and put our minds at rest.”
